The building and grounds at 75050 Hwy 25, Covington, Louisiana are solely owned by Covington Council Home Incorporated (CCH, Inc.). The Knights of Columbus St. Benedict – Covington Council 3061 leases space at this location for their monthly meeting and charitable activities. All event leases for rental space at this location is managed through the CCH, Inc management team and the Knights of Columbus council in no way represents, negotiates, sets pricing or further influence the terms and conditions set forth by the CCH, Inc.

Our Hall

Our hall and grounds are situated off Hwy 25 between St. Gertrude Drive and River Road and is owned by the Covington Council Home, Inc. (CCH). The hall sits on 17 acres with a pond, oak trees, old post office, baseball field and Bar-B-Que shed. The hall features a large hall which can accommodate 232 people, kitchen, and small bar area. Our hall is a great place for you to host a wedding reception, celebration, or business event. The entrance to the hall creates an excellent place to set up guestbooks and welcome your guests as you desire.  We have rectangular tables to allow you to truly customize your event, with enough chairs for all your guests.  The hall is an affordable facility for those who would like a simple and quaint place to hold their event.  We also have a full, modern commercial kitchen and welcome your caterer or you may bring your own food.  The main hall includes a fully stocked bar with a choice of drink packages. The bar is staffed by friendly people for your event, or you may bring in a caterer who is licensed to serve alcohol.  A speaker system, complete with wireless microphones connected throughout the whole building, allowing you to play music or use the microphone and all your guests to easily hear and enjoy.   Let us host your wedding reception, family reunion, or other special event!

  • Minimum of two-hour rental and a maximum of eight hours
  • Full kitchen

  • Payments can be made in person, through an email invoice, or cash/check
  • All major credit cards accepted
  • $40.00 return or bad check fee

  • One red and one white wine
  • Budweiser, Budlight, and Michelob Ultra draft beer

Premium Bar Package

  • Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, or Rose
  • Draft beer and/or choice or specialty can or bottle beer
  • Bombay gin, Kettle One vodka, White and dark Bacardi rum, Jim Beam bourbon, Jamesons whiskey, Tequila, Brandy, Scotch, Bourbon

Custom Bar Package

  • Specialty cocktails, champagne and other brands per request

Upon arrival, paying party will start a tab. This can be customized to include/exclude whatever liquors you prefer. Tab limited can be increased upon request.

Planning Before the Event:

  • Desired number of eight-foot rectangles tables (108” x 54” covers not )

Day of the Event:

 

  • Nothing to be hung on ceiling, lighting fixtures, or attached to any woodwork.
  • $100 fee if fire alarm is activated accidently.
  • No smoke, pyrotechnics, or fireworks allowed.
  • Lights are controlled by attendants.
  • No alcohol may be brought into the hall under any circumstances without prior approval. If found event will be terminated.
  • Refrigerators, stove tops, and ovens available.

At the end of the event:

  • Clean off all
  • Take ALL trash to dumpster in back lot.
  • Clean kitchen if used; clean counters/sinks; sweep/mop kitchen
  • Hall floor should be left clean; pick up items that we cannot
  • The Hall renter is responsible for the behavior of guests and the condition of the property at the end of the event. A $200 cash or check cleaning/damage deposit is required and will be returned if the hall is left reasonably clean, no damage is made to the property, and the grounds are clear of trash and debris.

The maximum number of guests is 232 people. The number of guests attending the event must be provided at the time of booking.
